Career and Technical Education (CTE) Best Practices
Students aren't simply following recipes. They're building the technical foundation, vocabulary, and professional competencies expected in today's baking and pastry industry.
Students develop the essential knowledge and techniques required for success in baking and pastry. Topics include kitchen safety, equipment, baking science, measurement, quick breads, cookies, cakes, and yeast breads.
Students expand upon foundational techniques through more advanced products, production methods, and industry applications while strengthening speed, consistency, and professional execution.
Additional curriculum levels are currently in development as BAPC continues to expand into a complete secondary baking education system.
